Intro:

Effective Monitoring and Evaluation is critical to the development of a robust HIV response at project, programme, national and international levels. UNAIDS is committed to building the Monitoring and Evaluation skills and capacity of partners in the HIV response. Recognizing the important role played by civil society in planning, policy making, advocacy and implementation of HIV action at all levels, UNAIDS is continuing to work on a collaborative process to help develop the capacity of civil society partners to engage in M&E.

How to use the pages:

In the document section there is a file with the title "Analysis of M&E tools and resources relevant for Civil Society". It gives an overview of all the documents that have been uploaded. There are also separate documents explaining the background to the process and the consultation report on Civil Society Needs for Capacity Building in HIV-related Monitoring and Evaluation.
