OUR MISSION
To fight HIV/AIDS and other STIs through talent self awareness and self worthiness upon the youth and other vulnerable class of people to brighten their future in Uganda.
OUR VISION
To become one of Uganda’s leading HIV /Aids fighters through talent, Good cooperation, self awareness and self worthiness and upon the youths and other class of people in Uganda.
This is an organization founded in 2007 with youths determined and very eager to Serve with, cases at risk of getting infected with HIV/Aids and STDs in our societies, to help overcome this problem of sexual infections and affection amongst the youths regardless of their natural creativities.
Besides that we also empower those who are out of school with practical skills which can give them a hand in fighting unemployment in communities and the programs are as follows;
1. The project ensures continuous prevention of HIV/AIDS spread in our communities among the youth.
2. There is a serious battle against stigma, discrimination or segregation amongst the youths who pose to be a serious problem to the infected in OUR societies.
3. Organizing monthly voluntary counseling and testing in different communities in our different premises and villages in our division (kawempe )
4. With the help of other developed organizations, there is training of community based counselors and trainers who can at times help us cover the areas that we may not be able to reach.
5. Performing dramatic plays, dancing informative the public about the dangers of the epidemics in our communities.
6. Supplying of preventive and protective measures such as condoms, pills, workshops and other means to serve the future of the youths in various communities.
7. Carrying out outreach in many different places to teach the locals the use of condoms (females and males) use for effective usage by the youths who are our major targets.
8. There is also prevention of positive living among the youths who are said to have been born positive among the youths mainly in learning institutions by distribution of condoms and inviting

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
Youth Power Network aims at fighting continuous spread of Aids amongst the youth from the grass roots through offering books, informed with Aids, performing Drama, and offering them with written poems. Besides, those out of schools are still given other protective means like Condoms and called for advice every week end due to our busy schedules.
Youth Power Network as a developing organization acts as a link between already developed organization and the people at the grassroots, therefore, we assign ourselves to extend the services near to people, services like voluntary counseling and testing (VCT), referrals, treatments, support and care for the HIV/AIDS victims in Uganda.
Also ,fighting self and group isolation among the infected and affected people is guaranteed, this is through showing love to them, support and care for the victims at the grassroots, this is through drama, showing the people the proper causes, spread and transmission of the disease in our communities and the outcomes if one is support and if not.
